My artistic journey began in 2011, in the simplest of ways… by developing an irresistible love for a well-placed brushstroke. From there, I began to express myself—here and there—through abstract or figurative forms, representing a thought, a feeling, or perhaps an emotion.

For the past two years or so, I’ve focused my work around exploring the concept of femininity. What does it truly mean? Is it a social construct, an identity, something defined by gender? I search for answers through my blue, distorted female figures—imperfect in form, broken, and yet beautiful in so many ways.
